Info page, or information page, is a document or information resource that you can post on your site. Every page has its own URL. Multiple languages are supported.

Ready-made page templates: what to change for your site

Your Dating Pro site comes with ready-made texts for these pages: Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, About Us, Advertising, and the Help & Safety section (safety tips, how to report a member, consent, sexual health, dating while travelling, using the site, dating advice). You can see them on our demo site: https://soulcompanion.net/content/view/security-center

If your pages still say "Dating Site Ltd" or "www.domain.com", you have the old texts. Copy the new ones from the demo pages, in the same way as described above.

These are templates, not legal advice. Dating Pro is a software company, not a law firm. Rules for dating sites differ between countries. Before you launch, have a lawyer in your country read your Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

How to use this checklist

This checklist works for you and for an AI assistant you ask to prepare your pages.

Answer the questions below.
Apply only the checklist rows your answers point to.
Replace every field in square brackets, for example [COMPANY_NAME]. The same field must have the same value on every page.
Have a lawyer check the result.

Editing tips

Paste the texts in Source mode of the editor. This keeps the section markers, such as <h2 id="community-rules">, that links like /content/view/legal-terms#community-rules point to.
Optional blocks are marked  and . Keep or delete each block whole. Visitors do not see the markers.
Do not change the page addresses (legal-terms, privacy-and-security and so on). Other pages link to them.

Rules for an AI assistant

If you ask an AI assistant to prepare your pages, give it this article and these rules:

Ask the owner the questions above. Do not guess the answers.
Change only the places listed in the matching rows. Do not rewrite other text.
Never invent values for fields. If a value is unknown, ask the owner.
Keep every <h2 id="..."> and keep page addresses unchanged.
Show the owner every change before publishing.

How to change copyright on my dating website?

Copyright is a text at the bottom of the site. It contains the information about intellectual property rights and is a very important part of creating your site brand.

This is how the copyright text looks like in the user mode:

Our company provides you with an opportunity to place your own copyright at the bottom of your site. This is how you can do that.

I. For version Kilig and above, log into your site’s control panel and go to Services > Customize your service > System > Copyright (site.com/admin/start/copyright/) and you will be able to edit the copyright text in three places, in all the site languages:

II. For version Jewel and below, you will need to access the source code and follow the steps:

1. Connect to your site files by FTP.

2. To change the copyright for the user interface of the site, go to file /application/views/flatty/footer.twig.

3. To change the copyright for the administration panel of the site, go to /application/views/admin/footer.tpl.

4. Replace existing copyright info with your own copyright info (highlighted in bold below).

1. In order to edit the copyright on the landing page of the responsive design theme in the Dating Pro software, go to /application/modules/start/views/flatty/index_pleasure.twig and edit line 197:

2. If the changes do not take effect immediately, try deleting temporary .php files from directories /temp/templates_c and /temp/twig/compiled. Warning: Do not delete any other files (.html, .htaccess) from these directories.
